DIERKS CHIEF OF POLICE RECEIVED KNIFE WOUND
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
On October 7th, 2010 at 9:17 A.M. the Howard County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from Joyce Grubbs at 403  Allen Avenue in Dierks stating her husband had driven his vehicle into their trailer house.  Dierks Chief of Police Brian White responded to the call and found an altercation going on at the residence.  Chief White was attempting to arrest Randy Grubbs when he stated he felt like he had been wasp stung under his left arm.  Chief White got Randy Grubbs handcuffed and realized that he had been cut by a knife that Randy had.  Chief White transported Randy Grubbs to the Howard County Jail and then went to the Howard County Memorial Hospital for treatment of the knife wound. 
 
 
 
Randy Grubbs is being charged with Battery in the 1st Degree, Aggravated Assault on a family or household member, and Domestic Battering in the 3rd Degree.
 
Bond has been set at $200,000.
