Traffic stop leads to felony arrest near Mineral Springs

On March 5, 2012 at approximately 10:05 P.M. Deputies Travis Turner and Steven Wakefield were patrolling on Social Hill Loop near Mineral Springs.  Deputies observed a blue GMC truck but could not see the license plate and also noticed the vehicle cross the fog line.  Deputies performed a traffic stop and found two of the occupants of the vehicle had outstanding warrants.  Deputies saw an open beer in the vehicle and could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  Deputies searched the vehicle and the occupants and found marijuana, smoking devices, digital scales, and baggies.

Deputies arrested the following subjects: 

Ronald Brown w/m age 46 of 209 Sipes St. Nashville, Ar.
Possession of Marijuana –Misdemeanor 

Jesley Capps w/m age 26 of 612 N. Elm Nashville, Ar.    
Non Payment of Fines Warrant-Misdemeanor
Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver-Marijuana-Felony
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia –Misdemeanor

Fredrick Tomlin w/m age 40 of 131 HC 264 South McCaskill, Ar.
Possession of Marijuana—Misdemeanor
Failure to Appear on Drug Charges -- Felony Warrant from Hempstead County
