Warrants of arrest were issued on April 1, 2012, for Ralph W. Morrison III, for the kidnapping of 18-month-old, Zahkairi Morrison. Aggravated assault and domestic battery 2^nd degree warrants were also issued for offenses committed during the same incident.

On April 2, 2012, Morrison turned himself in to the U.S. Marshals Service at an attorney’s office in Texarkana, AR.  Morrison had Zahkairi with him and she was transported to a hospital in Texarkana by officers for precautionary measures. She appeared to be unharmed.

Chief Deputy Bryan McJunkins transported Morrison to the Howard County Jail after taking custody of him from the U.S. Marshals in the Miller County Detention Facility parking lot. Morrison is being held on a $250,000.00 bond at this time.
