The Howard County Sheriff's Office participated in the National Drug Take Back Initiative Saturday, September 29, 2012.  Deputies Jade Hughes and Hector Cortez manned the drop off station at the Sheriff's Office from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.  Deputies collected sixty two pounds of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs from Howard County residents.
