On March 4, 2014 at approximately 1:08 A.M.  Deputy Steven Wakefield stopped a vehicle on Mt. Pleasant Drive for a traffic violation.  Deputy Wakefield identified the driver as Adam Huff w/m dob-7/15/1977 of #3 Dogwood Circle Nashville, Ar.  Deputy Wakefield found that Adam Huff was wanted out of White County on a contempt of court warrant and also his driver’s license was suspended.  When Deputy Wakefield removed Adam Huff from the vehicle he noticed a metal smoking pipe and a shiny red bag lying in the driver’s seat.  The red bag was labeled Scooby Snax and it contained a green leafy substance.  Deputy Wakefield found a loaded 45 caliber pistol in the console of the vehicle.  Deputy Wakefield arrested Huff for Driving on Suspended D.L., Possession of a Counterfeit Substance and Carrying a Weapon and transported him to the Howard County Jail.
