Indio Razo Hendershot arrested on drug and weapon charges by Dierks P.D. and Howard Co. S.O.

 
On April 27, 2014 at approximately 12:38 A.M. Dierks Police Officer Drew Pannell was patrolling on Hwy. 70 in Dierks.  Officer Pannell observed a small blue vehicle driving across the fog line and almost drove into the ditch.  Officer Pannell made a traffic stop on the vehicle and observed the driver moving around a lot in the vehicle.  Officer Pannell made contact with the driver who was identified as Indio Razo Hendershot h/m dob-9/11/1986 of 1418 Polk Road 48 Mena, Ar.  Hendershot was very nervous while talking to Officer Pannell.  Hendershot advised Officer Pannell that he was looking at his GPS and that is why he was driving badly.  Officer Pannell could smell a strong odor of marijuana after Hendershot exited the vehicle.  Howard County Deputy Joey Davis arrived to assist Officer Pannell and Hendershot admitted that he had smoked marijuana earlier.  Deputy Davis and Officer Pannell searched Hendershot and his vehicle and found the following items:  large amount of twenty dollar bills rubber banded together inside Hendershot’s wallet laying in the passenger seat, inside the trunk Deputy Davis found a silver metal case containing several clear plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine, a large assortment of pills, one set of digital scales, several clear empty plastic bags, two small clear containers and one clear bag with suspected marijuana and four bundles of money rubber banded together.  Officers also found two firearms in the vehicle a 308 caliber rifle and a 7.62 caliber rifle. The cash seized totaled 6,951 dollars. The drugs seized were 283 assorted pills and approximately 3.3 ounces of methamphetamine along with marijuana.  Hendershot was arrested and transported to the Howard County Jail.  Hendershot is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver 4 counts, Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms. Bond for Hendershot has been set at 200,000 dollars.
