Deputies Timmy Floyd and Blake Eudy took a report from Philip Nolan at his residence on Old Airport Road on June 10, where he reported to the deputies that someone had been inside his home and taken items. Nolan told deputies that he had been to his neighbor’s house, Billy Jean Bagley, asking if she saw anything or if she knew who might have broken into his house. Bagley invited Nolan inside to look around and Nolan found some of his things. It was later found out that Bobby Jo Murphy brought the items Nolan found to Bagley’s house. Deputies made contact with Bobby Jo Murphy and later arrested him for the burglary and theft. Most of Nolan’s property was recovered. Murphy is being held in jail on a $50,000.00 bond.
