K-9 Deputy Travis Turner took a report of a burglary and theft of a residence on Hwy 371 near the Hwy 278 junction on May 14. Candy Collier (27 yo, unknown address) became a suspect in the burglary and theft during Turner’s investigation. The investigation was turned over to Investigator Blake Eudy whom arrested Collier on Monday the 16th at the Parole Office. Later that day the item reported stolen from the house, (a lap top computer belonging to Murfreesboro School District was recovered and will be returned to the school. Collier was also charged with two other criminal charges (delivery of a controlled substance) felony charges that stemmed from recent undercover work from NPD Narcotics officer Mark Barnes and Howard County Investigator Blake Eudy.
