As the hot days of summer continue please be careful when burning.  Make sure that our county is not under a Burn Ban before you burn.   Our county has been under a burn ban for sometime.  Also make sure you are checking on the elderly in your family during the extreme heat.  If you know of anyone that might need assistance please let someone know.  The Howard County Sheriff's Office is always willing to help if you need us.  Have a safe and fun summer.
