Part Time Officer Charged for Criminal Mischief.

Investigator John Eric Glidewell investigated complaints from residents on Oak Hill Road Thursday of their mail boxes, trash cans and family yard signs being destroyed and/or missing. Glidewell was able to determine that a vehicle was used to destroy and steal these mail boxes, and signs. Glidewell was able to find a pick-up truck that had damage to it and found that Toy Ambree Reed was the driver of the pick-up that was used to take road signs and run over mail boxes and trash cans. Ambree had two passengers with him, twenty year old Ryan Sisson of Dierks, and an un-named seventeen-year-old from Dierks. Reed and Sisson where charged with Criminal Mischief in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. The juvenile will be charged in juvenile court. Dierks Police Chief Brian White immediately accepted Ambree Reed’s resignation from the Police Department as a part-time officer.
