Jamie Vinyard arrested for Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance

 

On August 31, 2012 at approximately 10:25 P.M. Deputy Travis Turner was patrolling on S.H. #278 near the Polk County Line in northern Howard County.   Deputy Turner observed a silver Pontiac run off of the road and then cross the center line while traveling south on S.H. 278.  Deputy Turner stopped the vehicle and obtained consent to search the vehicle.  While Deputy Turner was checking the driver, Jamie Vinyard, he found a small container in Mr. Vineyard’s left front pocket which contained suspected methamphetamine.  Jamie Vinyard was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-- Methamphetamine.  Bond has been set at 25,000 dollars.
