Audie Echols w/m dob-11/11/1964 from Cornbridge Road arrested on weapon and drug charges

 

On October 30, 2013 at 11:10 P.M. Deputy Joey Davis was patrolling around the Center Point area due to several thefts.  Deputy Davis observed a white truck traveling west on S.H. 26 and he turned around on it and it turned onto Cornbridge Road.  Deputy Davis checked the license plate and found it was expired.  The vehicle pulled into 2459 Cornbridge Road.  The driver of the vehicle was Audie Echols w/m dob-11/11/1964 who had a canceled drivers license and was also wanted out of Hot Springs County on a Violation of Probation warrant.  Deputy Davis found a small amount of marijuana on the person of Audie Echols.  Deputy Davis and Deputy Travis Turner obtained consent to search the camper trailer of Echols and found a 243 rifle, suspected methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.    Audie Echols was arrested and transported to the Howard County Jail.  No bond has been set at this time.  Formal charges are pending.
