William E. Chambers arrested on drug charges

 

On March 25, 2014 the Howard County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint concerning a reckless driver near Dierks.  Deputy Timmy Floyd was given the name of the driver of the vehicle but he could not locate the suspect vehicle.  Later on March 25, 2014 around 3:00 P.M. Deputy Floyd saw the suspect vehicle on Honeycutt Road and stopped the vehicle to talk to the driver about the complaint of reckless driving.  A consent to search the vehicle and the occupants was obtained by Deputy Floyd, Investigator John Eric Glidewell and Sheriff Butch Morris.  Investigator John Eric Glidewell searched the passenger of the vehicle and found suspected methamphetamine and a syringe in his pants pocket.  The passenger William E. Chambers w/m dob-5/12/1989 of 143 Hempstead 33 S. Nashville, Ar. was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  No bond has been set at this time.
