Forgery suspect

Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in identifying individuals in a felony forgery case and that may be in our county scamming residents.

On Wednesday, January 28, a white male driving a red, Ford extended cab pick up with a pressure washer in the back stopped at a residence near Center Point and power washed a home for a resident. They negotiated a price with the owner of the home but then altered the check given to him and cashed it at the Center Point Store. He is wanted for a felony forgery.

This unknown white male that was driving the red Ford was accompanied by an unknown white male. The driver is described as being short, with a medium build, short dark hair, approximately fifty to sixty years old.

We are concerned that he made similar deals with area residents and we are seeking any information that could help us identify these two individuals. If anyone has any information concerning this incident please contact the Howard County Sheriff’s Office at 845.2626.

Thank you,

Sheriff, Bryan McJunkins
