A little before 2 a.m. on March 3, 2016, deputies Travis Turner and Tim Bolin were patrolling in the Sand Hill area when they noticed a Yukon driven by Justin Newton and Turner and Bowlin knew Newton to have a suspended drivers license. Newton accelerated when Turner turned his car around to stop Newton. Newton continued driving fast crossing Pine St and driving through the ditch and through some yards in the area. Newton drove back to Collins Road and went toward Hempstead County at speeds over 80 mph. Pryor was released after being interviewed at the jail.
