Gonzollis Chrisp arrested on Drug Charges

 

On December 14, 2013 at approximately 9:30 P.M. Deputy Timmy Floyd and Deputy Steven Wakefield were patrolling on Hwy. 332 in Howard County.  Deputies observed a Ford Explorer driving left of the center line on three different occasions.  Deputy Floyd and Wakefield stopped the vehicle and as they approached the driver they could smell a strong odor of an intoxicant coming from the inside of the vehicle.    Deputy Floyd and Wakefield indentified the driver as Gonzollis Chrisp b/m dob-1/17/1950 of 5591 Joey Lane Texarkana, Arkansas.  Deputies observed an opened Coors Light beer can in the middle console cup holder.  Deputies had Chrisp exit the vehicle and then they searched the vehicle.  Deputies found suspected marijuana and rolling papers, several light bulbs used to smoke methamphetamine, and suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle.  Deputy Floyd and Deputy Wakefield arrested Chrisp and transported him to the Howard County Jail.  Chrisp is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance: Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance:  Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Drinking on the Highway and for a Contempt Warrant out of Miller County.  Bond has not been set at this time.
