Howard County Deputy Sheriff Travis Turner attended a three day Criminal Interdiction Workshop in Benton on January 14, 15, and 16^th, 2014.  The workshop was presented by the Desert Snow Group.    The class covered advanced vehicle searches, roadside interviews, and testifying in court.   Ninth West Prosecuting Attorney Bryan Chesshir paid for the cost of the class with funds from his drug forfeiture account.
