On March 12, 2014 at approximately  6:15 P.M. Deputy Joey Davis was patrolling near Tollette on Hwy. 332.  Deputy Davis was following a gold Chevrolet Blazer and the vehicle crossed the center line on two different occasions.  Deputy Davis stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Paul G. Golston b/m dob-8/3/1959 of Ozan.  Deputy Davis obtained a consent to search from Golston.  Deputy Davis asked Golston if he had anything in his pockets and Golston gave him two small clear plastic bags of suspected marijuana.  Golston also advised Deputy Davis that there was approximately ½ of a pound of marijuana behind the passenger seat in the vehicle.  Deputy Davis arrested Golston for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver and transported him to the Howard County Jail.  Bond has not been set for Golston at this time.
