Search Warrant executed in Mineral Springs

On Friday May 9^th, 2014 at approximately 5:00 P.M. officers with the South Central Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police, Mineral Springs Police Department and the Howard County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence located at 614 South Lewis St. in Mineral Springs.  Officers confiscated approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine, scales and 1,700 dollars in cash.  Officers arrested Robert Forbes b/m 26 years of age and Avante Evans b/m 19 years of age for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bond for Forbes has been set at 75,000 dollars and bond for Evans has been set at 50,000 dollars.
