Members of Howard County Search & Rescue and Dierks Fire Dept recently completed extensive training in Technical Rope Rescue and Swiftwater Rescue.  This group completed 100 hours of classroom and field training to obtain certifications as Rope Rescue Technician along as Advanced Swiftwater Rescue Technician.  Skills learned in this training will help prepare the group for emergencies involving low and high angle rescue along as rescue involving moving water/swiftwater.  This training was held in Malvern, AR along the Ouachita River.
