On December 15, 2014 Howard County Deputy Blake Eudy responded to a call at 504 Cornbridge Road regarding a burglary and theft or property.  Cynthia W. Smith reported that her father Lloyd Ashley is the owner of the property.  Cynthia reported that Curtis W. Smith had broken into his grandfather’s house and stolen some guns and then tried to burn the house after stealing the guns.  Curtis W. Smith w/m dob-11/10/1979 of 497 Cornbridge Road Mineral Springs, Ar. was arrested in Sevier County by deputies involving another incident in Sevier County.  The guns stolen in Howard County were recovered by Sevier County deputies.  Smith is charged with Residential Burglary, Theft of Property and Conduct Constituting Attempt-Arson.   Bond for Curtis W. Smith has been set at 75,000 dollars.
