On February 10th, Deputy Steven Wakefield responded to a residential burglary and theft on Highway 278 between Center Point and Nashville. Wakefield took a report from the residents of items missing from the house and collected evidence at the crime scene. Wakefield’s follow up investigation along with investigators David Shelton and Jade Hughes led to the arrest of Corey Dean (18) of Nashville, and Tyler Parker (19) of Nashville. No charges have been filed against Dean or Parker at this time and the investigation is still ongoing. Dean and Parker were arrested for Residential Burglary and Theft of Property (both charges are felonies).
