Drug Arrest on David Howard; Hwy 27

 

Just after midnight on March 4, 2015, Deputy Steven Wakefield stopped a vehicle that had multiple violations of defective equipment and was driven by David Howard (45 of Nashville) on Hwy 27 N. near Mineral Springs. During Wakefield’s contact with Howard he noticed that something appeared to be stuffed in the front of Howard’s pants. Wakefield searched Howard and his vehicle and found approximately one ounce of marijuana in a plastic bag along with approximately nine grams of methamphetamine inside the front of Howard’s pants. Wakefield continued his search and located a spoon and a syringe that is used for the methamphetamine.

 

Wakefield arrested Howard for Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), a class C felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and class D felony; and Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana), and class A misdemeanor; and transported him to jail. No bond has been set at the time of this release.
